Oh my god, stop whatever you’re doing and go look at Alicia Souza’s mouse!
Guys, this is not a drill. Illustrator Alicia Souza’s mouse (hamster? guinea pig?) Mr. Henry Oates, who really should qualify for the title of an Instagram model by now, is literally the cutest thing I’ve seen all week, and her amazing Instagram is full of him (and other cool things).
The best are videos of Henry Oates eating things with speed and dedication (like watermelon, which he loves, and strawberries, which he lunged for but missed), all while making the most adorable snuffly munching noise you’ve ever heard. There’s also a picture of him attempting unsuccessfully trying to hide behind the leg of a chair, which due to fruit-fed girth is also a fail, and Souza’s beautiful dog, Charlie, isn’t impressed.
