Aurangzeb can be declared a Bechdel failure, with a couple of caveats. Amrita Singh does have a conversation with her female protege character — but it’s mostly about how to entrap men. And Singh’s blouses and saris are so stunning one could loopily suggest they’re having a parallel sartorial conversation. But therein, folks, ends Aurangzeb‘s attempt to explore the ladies.
