Chayn, an open-source gender and tech project that works in empowering women against violence, released their DIY Online Safety Toolkit yesterday. The guide discusses the numerous ways women can safeguard their identities, information and movements on the Internet, particularly from stalkers, without having to resort to anything drastic like deleting their entire digital footprint.
Spend some time on the rest of Chayn’s website, by the way. They do all kinds of great work and have other useful toolkits for women, like on how to build your own domestic violence case without a lawyer, and mental health.
