Mahantesh Kavatagimath suffered a mild oopsie on Tuesday. Except his mild oopsie is making national headlines since he’s a BJP lawmaker from Karnataka and he made his mistake on a Whatsapp group that has legislators, social workers, councillors, senior officers and members of the media on it.
He accidentally (I assume) sent them all 50 pornographic images on Tuesday.
LOL. When members of the group (hilariously and perhaps aptly called Belagavi Media Force) suddenly received a flood of images of nude women from him, many indignantly quit, while others voiced their displeasure on the group. He was finally removed from the group by one of the group’s administrators. Some people are demanding that legal action be taken against Kavatagimath, as it’s illegal to share porn on Whatsapp.
For a while after this happened, his phone was switched off. He has now surfaced to say that it happened when he was trying to get his touch screen cell phone to work, and has no idea how the messages got sent. It is, of course, fine that he apparently has porn on his phone and watches it when he wants to, but oh man, what an unfortunate slip of the thumb.
