Clearly, lots of people have been inspired by the King of Creeps, Malayalam actor Dileep. Now, a 38-year-old man named Kiran Kumar from Ottappalam, Kerala, has now been arrested after he posted private photographs of a Malayalam actor online. He was trying to blackmail the actor and extort Rs 75 lakhs from her. He had obtained the pictures during their relationship, which ended when she discovered he was married.

He threatened to publish the pictures if she didn’t pay him the money he’d asked for. When she ignored his threats, he posted the pictures on social media, after which they unfortunately went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp. Obviously, though, he didn’t expect the woman to go to the police at any point, but she did.

He’s been arrested, and police told The News Minute that those who shared the images on social media would be arrested too.

This sounds a lot like the allegations against Malayalam actor Dileep, too. After his arrest in connection with the abduction and sexual assault of a popular Malayalam actor in February, it was revealed in the news that he’d gotten up to lots of creepy behaviour before, including paying the same man he paid in this case to also take compromising photos of the same actor back in 2013 with the intent of blackmailing her. The Kerala High Court, by the way, has taken a firm stand in this case. They’ve particularly noted Dileep’s immense stature and influence as a popular actor when denying his application for bail earlier today.
