The Indian women’s national squash team finished their stint at the 18th Asian Team Championships in Taipei with a silver medal!
The championship ended with Malaysia beating India by 2-0 in the finals on May 15. While both the Indian men and women’s teams qualified for the semi-finals, the men’s team lost to Pakistan, while Dipika Pallikal and Joshna Chinappa’s wins helped the women’s team beat the top seed Hong Kong 2-1 on May 14, moving on to the finals with Malaysia.

Joshna Chinappa, Dipika Pallikal and Sachika Ingale were part of the team that played the semi-final and final rounds. There were eight teams competing for the women’s championship.
