We’re so glad Twitter user Hecate (@yaksshi) shared this hilarious satirical video by Funny or Die that shows “a Handmaid’s Tale for men” with us! It imagines if the roles were reversed in Margaret Atwood’s dystopian social science fiction novel, and tells the story of Manfred, who used to be called just Fred, trying to survive under the harsh rule of the feminazi. I think my favourite bits are the doom-laden tone in which he says, “Now, even the women who aren’t lesbians look like lesbians”, the men’s review of the Wonder Woman movie and the fact that 4chan and Reddit are the hubs of the Resistance.
