What’s Rohan Joshi Doing in a Show Called Queens of Comedy?

Have you heard about the new show soon to be on TLC? It’s called Queens of Comedy, and is aimed at giving women comics an opportunity in a field largely dominated by men right now. The first line on their website reads, “TLC India brings you Queens of Comedy, a platform for female comics who are ready to serve humour in every meal”. That’s supposed to be a joke (hilarious!).

Queens of Comedy is to be judged by Kaneez Surka, Richa Chadda and…Rohan Joshi. That’s not a joke. Why it was necessary to have him or any man judging a show called Queens of Comedy about all women comics, we’re not sure, especially since the whole point of the show is to bring women to the forefront of a male-dominated space.

Either way, their new promo is admittedly pretty funny. Check it out, and register if you’d like.
