Uff, it just keeps getting better. The cast of Lipstick Under My Burkha have come together with everybody’s favourite Mallika Dua once again. The last time they did, Dua was getting advice from the ladies on how to look “sensatious“. This time, they’re presenting CBFC head Pahlaj Nihalani with another pretty sensatious fuck-you.
The background, of course, is that Nihalani and the CBFC refused to give a certificate to the movie on the imaginary grounds that it was “too lady-oriented” and contained “audio pornography”. Now that the movie is releasing on Friday, the cast and the makers of the movie are busy using the time they have left until the release to let Nihalani know just what they think of him.
It’s just so much fun watching women enjoy themselves, and of course, the video’s hilarious too. In the video, Dua plays a matchmaker for marriages and “cezhual hookups”. She shows Konkona Sensharma and Ratna Pathak a variety of men, from Milind Soman to Justin Bieber (because apparently everyone likes taking care of babies), but when none of these men quite tickle their fancies, the video ends with Dua sharing the one man she had intended to keep for herself.
Is it just me, or does the mental image of Pahlaj Nihalani burning up in futile rage give you immense, gleeful satisfaction?
