There was a time (aka the late 80s) when many school children in India knew the name of Pamela Bordes/Pamela Singh, Miss India 1982. That was back then when she was enmeshed in a random British scandal.
Anyway, evs. Pamela Bordes, now Pamela Singh, has been a photographer for 20 years and has shown her work all over the map. She now has this fascinating selfie-filled collection in the New York gallery Sepia Eye. It also has the excellent name The Treasure Maps of Pamela Singh. Go gawk.

Ofcourse, now you’re going to either hide or delete this comment as we all know that Feminists have no “balls” to hear the truth!

RajatGupta1 when I see you at the front lines defending the rapes & murders so often happening in India of women and little girls, how about you sit down & shut your arrogant mouth. Pamella was a woman who was free to do as she wished, her ambition was frowned upon in a society of men and her sexuality attacked though it was the men who of course gave her the platform they ripped from her. The hypocrisy is embarrassing.
As for her life she was a success as Miss India and a model, she lived in London- not an easy feat due to how they view Asians as 2nd class….she rose ….was destroyed ….and like a Phoenix rose again as an artist….I quite like her.
