Deepika Arwind on Performing for An All-Women Audience, Her Love for Aditi Mittal and Her Plans for #LeddisNight!

Theatre artist and general cat Deepika Arwind, creator of the laugh-till-you-cry, cry-till-you-laugh piece No Rest in the Kingdom, sat down with our Taruni Kumar for a live interview from the terrace of the lovely Shoonya Centre for Art and Somatic Practices, where she’s an artist in residence.

They were briefly interrupted by a garrulous old bhadralok academic who somehow managed to crash the interview, but it all made for hilarious and insightful viewing. Arwind told us about performing for an all-women audience, her feelings about Aditi Mittal and her excitement at performing a piece of No Rest in the Kingdom at our Leddis Night! event on Saturday, 29 April! By the way, if you still haven’t booked your tickets (what man), do so by clicking this link.
